Arik is a product of Yountville Elementary School. He attended Pepperdine University and returned to take over the family business. Housley is the owner of Ranch Market Too in Yountville as well as a partner in Il Posto Trattoria in Napa and VP of Housley’s Century Oak Winery.
In his spare time he acts as president of the Napa Valley Soccer Club and coaches his children at both baseball and soccer. He Loves Yountville and its story.
Kini began her successful career in hospitality eighteen years ago at Kimpton in San Francisco while working on her MBA. In 2002 after returning from Barcelona, Spain where she was a national account manager for the Hotel Arts – a Ritz-Carlton property, Kini spent 10 years in the Seattle area working for several luxury properties. Hotels where she led the sales and marketing efforts included, Hotel 1000 and the Singaporean based, Pan Pacific Hotel. As a native Californian, Kini returned home with her twin daughters in 2012 to take the role as director of sales and marketing at Bardessono.
Steve was appointed Town Manager by the Yountville Town Council in October 2007 and has worked in local governement management for over 25 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Political Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis on local government management from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. Steve resides in Yountville and enjoys walking and biking throughout the town. In January 2012, Steve was named by the Yountville Chamber of Commerce as “Citizen of the Year”.
As Director of Human Resources for The Thomas Keller Restaurant Group (TKRG), Julie Secviar oversees and coordinates the planning, organizing, training and leadership goals of all the restaurants, including strategic management, employee and labor relations, and human resources. Secviar is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience related to her field.
Secviar has many professional affiliations. She is an Advisory Board Member for the Women in Leadership Program for Loyola University. Secviar, a skilled professional speaker, has led various speaking engagements for the past 7 years for numerous associations.
Spurred by a longstanding love of the Napa Valley and a recently renewed lust for life, Lisa Cox opened The Countryside, a new gift store in Yountville’s Piazza Quercia shopping area. Cox opened the store after recently moving to Yountville from Sacramento with her husband, Dr. Michael Cox. The two have been regular weekend visitors to the Napa Valley for many years.
The shop features an eclectic blend of home and garden items including bath and personal care products, linens, garden items and live plants, including several high-quality and well-known home furnishing lines.
A 40 year veteran of the Hospitality Industry, 18 years in the Napa Valley, Mike brings outstanding experience, excellent organization skills and quick humor to all endeavors. Having working in Hawaii, Texas and California from Hyatt to Fairmont and Silverado, Mike has has a lifelong passion for food and service.
he resides in Napa with his wife, Cynthia and their three children, Alyx, Nick and Lauren. “I feel Napa Valley is a wonderful place to raise a family and the Town of Yountville has so much to offer in my field of expertise as my home away from home.”
Mikael was born and raised in Maryland, but had the opportunity to live around the world including Portugal and Monaco. He relocated to Yountville from Washington, D.C. for a position with Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley. Upon moving to Yountville, he immediately wanted to find ways to become involved in the community. The obvious choice was through his passion—soccer and has served as assistant coach for the boys and girls soccer team at Justin-Siena High School, and more recently as the head coach for the boys’ team. More often than not you can find him having dinner at R+D Kitchen, Redd Wood or Ciccio!
Having grown up on the east coast, including New York and Virginia, Kimberly Whistler first moved to California in 2003, taking a retail and hospitality position at Robert Mondavi Winery. Kimberly moved into marketing while she worked at Cliff Lede Vineyards from 2004-2008, and returned in 2013 as Director of Marketing for Lede Family Wines and Poetry Inn. In the interim, she earned her MBA at UC Davis, then moved to Las Vegas to work for Caesars Entertainment Corp. in both marketing and VIP operations. Kimberly also volunteers for Yountville’s Pathway Home.
As Vice President & General Counsel for Atlas Vineyard Management, Allyssa Wickstrom helps clients with issues such as winery compliance, permitting, drafting operating agreements and employment law. She specializes in water and land-use law and has experience in municipal and private sectors. Wickstrom serves on the board of the Yountville (CA) Kiwanis and the Yountville Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Leadership Napa Valley’s Class 27 and is the state director for California’s National Judicial Competition. Wickstrom is licensed to practice law in California and Washington State, and she is a licensed real estate broker in California.
